This is an in-person class only, not online. They will be sponsoring students for the class. If accepted for sponsorship your tuition will be paid and you will be paid while attending the class. COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our CNA course provides the knowledge and skills needed to perform basic care services in a long-term care setting. Prepares students to function as nursing assistant under RN or LPN supervision, meeting state curriculum and licensure requirements. 96 hours of classroom/lab, 16 hours of clinical experience, and successful demonstration of patient care skills required. Successful completion of the course with a grade of “B” or better allows students to take the state competency written/skills examination for CNA certification.

Nature of Work

Nursing assistants perform routine duties such as transferring patients, providing hygiene, feeding and changing bed linens. They take vital signs and report back to the nurse. Hand hygiene and patient safety is expected at all times.

High demand for CNAs in Arkansas with many employers willing to hire entry-level candidates and cover tuition costs. Note: Nursing Assistant Training Solutions, LLC cannot guarantee employer tuition coverage. Candidates must be eligible for positions and meet company standards. Most employers require a commitment to a certain amount of time after tuition is covered, which can vary from 90 days to one year. Facility tuition policies will be discussed during the hiring process.
